Exceptional cased Military Merit Cross 3rd Class with War Decoration in case of issue.

Fantastic gold applications in the laurel wreath and center medallion motto and almost perfect enamel on trifold Austrian style ribbon. Not identifiable markings on the crosses suspension bracket.rom around the 1880th.

The red leatherette case shows the golden inscription: “Militär-Verdienst-Kreuz”.
