Description

Sport badge for War Disabled grouping, consisting of an award document presented to Wilhelm Johannsen, as well as a sports badge for war disabled, with matching miniature (17 mm). The document was issued on August 28, 1943 to Wilhelm Johannsen, born March 4,1915, living in Hamburg 39 Olsdorferstraße 25. The document is signed by the Stabsartzt and features a matching stamp seal. In addition, once folded open, the document features four sports categories and all important details about Wilhelm’s sports accomplishments, signed and stamped by the Obmann. The reverse features the official award information of the Sports Badge - Silver grade with golden wreath, numbered 3281, awarded on November 13, 1943, with a facsimile and stamp of the Stellvertreter des Reichsportführers.

Exceedingly rare grouping.
