VIEW DESCRIPTION

Conformation of shooting down (victory) of a Soviet-Russian SB-2 on 9.10.1942. Issued on 23.9.1944 to Leutnant Rudolf Miethig serving with 3./Jagdgeschwader 52. Knight's Cross, German Cross in Gold, and Luftwaffe Honor Goblet winner. Credited with 101 air victories. Killed in action on 10. June 1943 near Krymskaja, Soviet Union.

It was the 408th air victory of the Staffel.

The document has two holes and light signs of use.
