Württemberg - converted Fire Brigade helmet
Description
A nice officer's helmet which was period time converted to a fire brigade helmet. This Württemberg officer must have ended his military career and served as a fire brigade commander.
The holes of the military front badge were professionally closed. A custom made plate was attached to the inside.
Both cockades are in place. The chin scales are in nice condition. All fittings show a lovely matching patina.
Silvered bire brigade front badge in nice quality.
Fine silk lining; Soft leather sweatband.
Leather corpus in good shape. Including a period time tansportation container.
