Description

This Bayonet features blued metal fittings overall, with double Waffen Amt (519) stamped pommel with working external release button, with screw in wooden grips and metal guard & muzzle slot. The 25.5 cm long blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to each side of the blade, with very little evidence of sharpening, good spear point, with blade being in generally very good condition overall with much of the original blued finish. Ricasso stamped 5770 S & cof as well as date 43 (1943) to spine. Standard metal scabbard with most of the protective blue brown finish, with non matching numbers 4863 b. Almost no rust on scabbard.

Comes with seemingly unmarked frog in very good condition.
