Description

Visor cap of a soldier of the "Gebirgsjäger" who was promoted to officer.

"Jägergrün" piping with fresh colors.

Aluminum insignia with all prongs in place and fresh air cockade in the rarer version with six ventilation holes. Correct chin strap for officers, attached with matching buttons.
The inner lining is made of light beige silk and shows normal signs of wear and age. The celluloid diamond is completely missing, but the manufacturer's logo "HPC Frischluft Stirndruckfrei" is preserved but faded. The brown leather sweatband is completely intact but hardened. Typical “up and down” traces on the visor.

Worn but beautiful peaked cap with a rare fresh air cockade and only small moth bites.
