An EM/NCO pattern police shako with black lacquered top and visor marked with liner date of 1940 and Cocarde dated 1937.
Eagle: aluminum. Period time attached with the original screws, discs and nuts. nice light patina on the top of the wings showing it has not been touched for some time.
Cockade: aluminum dated 1937 and SRM stamped.
Green felt: Very good condition. Clean and no holes but some tracking. Leather overall. is very clean with some dings to the finish from use.
Lining: Fine leather sweat-band marked well with 1940 stamped on the inside. cord is missing. Very complete Hans Romer Neu Ulm label at the top of the dome showing the size stamp 57.
