Description

The sabre comes with an etched blade on three sides. "Carl Eickhorn, Solingen" maker marked. One side shows an artillery troop flanked by national eagles. The other side is beautifully decorated. Slight stains and a small piece of the tip is missing.

Black celluloid grip with wire wrapping. No chipping but the wrapping has been replaced. Gold-plated aluminum handle fittings. The "pommel" and the front langet bear the national eagle. Black re-painted steel scabbard which is free of dents. The throat with both screws is missing.

Includes the officer's portepee.

Length: 99.5 cm.

Traces of wear. 

The model "Prinz Eugen" was part of the field marshal series from Eickhorn.
