Comprehensive document and photo grouping to Afrikakorps veteran Leutnant Erich Krumbein. He started serving with Inf.Rgt.14 in 1933, was sent to Inf.Rgt.13 and Inf.Rgt.55. In 1938, he served as "Spieß" with MG-Batallion 47. From 1940, he served with Fla-Batallioin 606 and was part of the France and Africa Campaign. During the Afrika Campaign he was promted a Leutnant. Krumbein was killed in action in March 1945 defending "Festung Breslau".
