Pre-production sample Allach "Der Dolchträger"
Description
Extremely rare pre-production sample by the artist Richard Förster of the "Der Dolchträger" (The Dagger Bearer) figure which belonged to the SS Allach "Gaukler"
series. The sample was made from clay and is most probably unique. It would
have been the sample for the Allach manufactured porcelain figures.
Pencil writing to the bottom. Obviously no maker's markings.
No chips. The blade of the dagger was repaired.
Height: 25cm.
Apart form the repaired dagger in nice condition 2+.
