The photo album comes with roughly 149 photographss documenting the service in the Eastern Campaign.
Right at the beginning of the photo album one picture of SS-Obersturmführer and Knight's Cross winner Fritz Vogt as well as a newspaper cutting. The photo shows him still without Knight's Cross. Please note he wears a SS officer's visor cap with a army cap eagle (photo). Also nice to see, some of the soldiers wearing the early "crusher" visor cap and camo helmet covers. Furthermore photographs of the battlefront and military vehicles as well as foreign POW's. One photo removed.
The first page with an attached Gebirgsjäger Edelweiss sleeve badge and a stamp with the portrait of Adolf Hitler.
