WW1 officer's field buckle - Asia Corps

Description

Rare Prussian officer's field belt. From 1914. Worn by members of the so-called "Asien-Korps" or "Levantekorps" in WWI.

Brass buckle. Two-piece construction. Linen webbing belt with matching leather tab. At a later time the belt was covered with a brocade belt, to use it in the ordinary military service.
An untouched and interesting piece.

Length: 96.5cm.

Worn. Good condition.
