Six original photographs of Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves recipient Major Franz Kieslich.
He was awarded the German Cross in gold serving with III./Stuka-Geschwader 77 and the Knight's Cross after his 513th mission on 5.1.1943. On 30.11.15 he finished his 800th mission and served as commander III./Schlacht-Geschwader 77 from January 1944.
He was awarded the Oak Leaves on 10.10.1944 after 1038 missions.
Kieslich has destroyed 10 ships (23.000 BRT), one destroyer and on U-Boot. He was shut down 20 times but survived the war being released in June 1945.
