Very nice photo album of an Afrikakorps member. He was awarded the 1939 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class.
The album documents his service from 1941 to 1943 very well. Beautiful portrait photos of him, rare shots of Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel, photos of the unit's vehicles, and the soldiers' daily life in Africa. Also nice to see the tropical clothing and equipment. The photos are accompanied by handwritten notes by the soldier.
