Description

Kriegsmarine officer's dagger for Land troops. Made by Puma, the so-called "Modell 8". This model was only manufactured by PUMA Solingen. One of the rarest daggers from the "Reich". This model is also depicted in literature, including by Thomas T. Wittmann (Exploring the Dress Daggers of the German Navy).

Handle:
Ivory handle with intact wire wrapping
Adapted M38 brass pommel and fire-gilded cross guard.

The cap of the release button is missing.

Blade:
Clean double-sided etched blade showing fine ornaments and naval motifs.
No damage to the tip.
Maker: Puma, Solingen

Scabbard:
Fittings and the hammered scabbard made of fire-gilded brass.
No dents
