Door handle of the NSDAP Gauleiter Friedrich Karl Florian (1894-1975). Used in his offices.
Gauleiter Florian served during WWI with Jagdstaffel 51 (fighter squadron) and was awarded the Imperial German Pilot's Badge. On 18. August 1925 he joined the NSDAP. His membership number was 16.699. Gauleiter of Gau Düsseldorf from 1. January 1930 to 17. April 1945 as well as Reich Defense Commissioner from 16. November 1942.
The door handle is made of brass and shows a hand holding a rod. At the end of the rod is a separately attached gilded eagle. The hand also bears a swastika on its fourth finger
