A fine quality privately purchased field tunic M1915 of Hauptmann Philipp Albrecht Herzog von Württemberg serving with Grenadier-Regiment Königin Olga (1. Württembergisches) Nr. 119.
Designed with a "resedagrün" color collar. Period time machine-applied officer's collar tabs.
Sewn in shoulder boards with white backing. Red-black threads. Württemberg. Gilt pips and "O" for "Regiment Königin Olga". Beautiful and impressive boards.
Complete and period time applied buttons.
Grey silk lining. A "Wilh. Läpple" tailor's tag. Based in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
Period time applied loops for a long field bar as well as several awards.
Minor moth damage. An important piece of history.
