Luftwaffe Soldbuch "Zweitschrift" to Feldwebel Helmut Köster serving with Schlachtgeschwader 2 "Immelmann". Knight's Cross winner on 8. August 1944, awarded in recognition of his total of approx. 700 ground attack sorties. He was killed during a training on 8. August 1944.
The Soldbuch was issued on 23. December 1943. Original applied photo. Comes with all the pages (a few pages are loose). Listed awards on page 22: Luftwaffe Pilot's Badge, Squadron Clasp for Schlachtflieger in Bronze, Silver and Gold with Pendant, 1939 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, Luftwaffe Honor Goblet, German Cross in Gold and Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
