Description

An untouched grouping of Kurt Eisenmann serving with VP 1314 which was sunk by the British Navy on 10.6.44, only four days after D-Day, in Dutch waters. Most of the crew killed in acfion was burried in Rotterdam as proven by some photos inside the album.

A stunning photo album with period time subtitles containing many photos taken on board of VP 1314. There are also photos taken at St. Nazaire showing the return of a U-Boot and the Knight’s Cross awarding ceremony of the commander. 176 photos in total.

His blue sidecap with hand-embroidered emblem of his boat VP 1314. A wodden plate showing the same boat emblem as well as of the emblem of the Vorpostenflottille.

A really nice grouping providing a lot of room for additional research.
