Nickel-plated steel blade with the motto "Arbeit adelt". Made by Ernst Pack&Söhne. Maker marked on the back. Also "RADJ" and "GES.GESCH." marked. The blade has been polished.
Nickel-plated handle fittings. Replaced grip plates and screws. No chipping. Black (anodized) scabbard with nickel-plated fittings. All four screws are in place but also replaced. The entire hewer was overpainted over with ZAPON varnish.
Includes an original leather hanger. Fully working snap. "Lüneschloss Solingen" maker marked and "RADJ" marked on the back. Also "GES.GESCH." marked. Slightly damaged (a seam has opened).
