A Waterloo medal to David D. Gillespie, British Army, Unett’s Company (Major George Unett, 5 9 Pounders, 1 5.5 Howitzer, 6th Division), Royal Foot Artillery.

Then medal was awarded to him and anybody taking part in one of the following battles: Lingny, 16th June, Quatre Bras, 16th June or Waterloo, 18th June.

Original medal with replacement suspender and ribbon.

Rim with marking: “David.gillespie.Gunner.royal,Foot,Artillert.”
