Description

Amazing opportunity to purchase a beautifully preserved single decal M35 helmet owned by Knights Cross wearer Dr  Major Hans Gidion with the helmet being offered for the first time for sale and originally came of his family.

This helmet is a clean M35 helmet with a field grey sand pain on the inside and outside.  The paint is about 90% present with light steel patina showing where the paint is missing.

There is a national eagle decal present at about 85%.

The lining is also present and very well preserved with flexible leather and cord.  The name DR Gidion is penned into the leather liner.  There was something written below (maybe his address?) which was however removed.  The rivets holding the liner in place appear to not have been opened.

Includes original Chinstrap.

Comes with a formidable postcard showing the bust of Dr Hans Gideon

Overall this is an exceptional helmet. No more items to Gideon available.
