Description

Hanna Reitsch was born on 29. March 1912. She was the most famous female aviator and test pilot of Germany. During the Third Reich she tested many new aircrafts for the regime. On 28. March 1941 Adolf Hitler awarded her personally the 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class for her service as test pilot. After the war she wrote some books and continued testing aircrafts. She died on 24. August 1979 in Frankfurt/Main.

Three postwar signed documents by Hanna Reitsch. Furthermore two letters and an envelope as well as one advertising for her book. All documents postwar.
