This lot is a component of an Important grouping to SA Oberscharführer Karl M., born in 1905. He participated in the so-called "Hitlerputsch" in Munich on 8./9. November 1923. For this action he was awarded the "Blood Order" of the NSDAP in 1933. Karl M. grew up in a nationalist rightwing family in Munich. His father August served with "Einwohnerwehr München" after WWI. His brother, Max, died in 1921 suffering from his WWI injuries.
Despite his early involvement at the Putsch, Karl joined the NSDAP fairly late on 1.7.1930. His NSDAP membership number was 263069, and his "Blood Order" issue number was 1031.
This grouping has never available on the market before, having been found at a household clearance in Munich in late 2018. Please note that our consignor wishes to list the items as separate lots.

Important early 1920s photo album to Karl M. and his father August M. The album contains extremely early Hitlerputsch related photographs as well as early "Einwohnerwehr München" photos taken around 1919/1920. Some show August M. Many photos showing men with civilian cloth from the first view. When you look closer you will see some early self-made swastika armbands being worn by a few men. The photos are an important proof of early NSDAP history. Many photos were taken in Munich.
The first photo shows Adolf Hitler in the field during WWI. He is the one sitting (left, bottom row). There is "Hitler im Feld" written to the left side. This photo must have been sold in the early 1920s to people being loyal to Hitler and his followers. The second page shows a group of men in WWI uniforms. The photo was clearly taken in the early 1920s. The man to the centre wears an unusual swastika armband with stripes backing. The man wearing the helmet standing to the left (with moustache) must be Oskar Körner. Oskar Körner and Kurt Neubauer were the first two men being killed in front of the "Feldherrnhalle" during the Hitlerputsch in November 1923. The grave of Kurt Neubauer is shown on one of the photos inside this album by the way. Körner is supposed to have safed Hitler's live protecting him with his body after Hitler's bodyboard, Ulrich Graf, was injured. The bullet hit Körner's head and missed Hitler. A photo of Ulrich Graf is part of this album, too.
There is one nice portrait of Karl M. wearing a fieldgrey uniform and his WW1 steel helmet. It must have been taken in 1923.
The album has is cord missing. Condition 3 however all photos in good condition.
41 photos in total.
