Feldwebel Hans Sengenberger served with the Luftwaffe paratroopers during WWII. He was deployed in France, Crete (Chania), and Itlay. In 1945 he became a prisoner of war near Innsbruck. Information about him can be found on the back of the photos (hand-written notes). Awarded the Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge, 1939 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, Wound Badge in Black and Silver, as well as the Ground Assault Badge.
The collection consists of 22 period time photos. Including a beautiful portrait photo of him. Note the Fallschirmjäger-Regiment cuff title, please. Postcard size. Also his POW Certificate of Discharge. Issued on 25. July 1945.
