Grouping to SS-Hauptscharführer Alfred Becker serving with 11. SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Division "Nordland“. Awarded the 1939 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, East Medal, Infantry Assault Badge in Bronze, Wound Badge in Black, and Close Combat Clasp in Bronze. Missing in action in March/April 1945. Enclosed is a post-war letter from a comrade describing the events.
The lot consists of roughly 146 photos. Among them are excellent Waffen-SS portrait photos of him. You can see his awards and in many photos, he wears the "NORDLAND" cuff title. Also a perfect photo of him in an SS camo smock. Furthermore photos of his HJ and RAD service as well as photos of his wife Marga. She served with the female Reich Labour Service.
