Photo album of a Waffen-SS member serving with SS-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 12. Part of the 12. SS-Panzer-Division "Hitlerjugend“.
The soldier appears to be one of the original cadre of SS troops drawn to form the division. Comes with a super full-page unit (group) photo. The album starts with his SS training in Posen, officers (with Degen), swearing-in ceremony, medals in wear, Gauleiter GREISER visiting the unit, good weapons photos, and an excellent MG 42 photo. Photos of the soldier wearing the black SS Panzer wrapper, also a nice portrait photo (postcard size).
The cord of the album is missing so the pages are loose.
