A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 80% still present. Signs of wear and rest of a light-green color this helmet was covered once. The color was removed and the apple-green color came to light again. It looks that beside the appled green paint his helmet was received a fieldgrey paint period time. The decal has suffered a bit.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 65-70%.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. No cord. 597 size stamped.
Chin strap: Soft leather. It looks to be unmarked.
