An excellent clean blade showing the maker's mark of "Ch.A.W." (Chromolit Besteckfabrik Arthur Wingen, Solingen) and the marking of the distributor "Waffen-Loesche Berlin". Furthermore numbered "62". The back of the blade shows the letter "H".
Genuine horn grip scales that are free of chipping. Attached with three screws. Re-finished (anodized) steel scabbard. It has no dents. Includes the portepee and brown leather frog. Maker marked and dated "1939" on the back.
