Especially for the integration of smaller companies, the DAF has awarded additional performance badges since May 1937, such as "for exemplary health care", "exemplary vocational education", housing construction, social work welfare, promotion of strength through joy (KdF) and the "Gaudiplom for outstanding performance". In the criteria for these awards, the political objectives of the DAF came to light more clearly. The training process, the trainers and their cooperation with the DAF and the Hitler Youth (HJ), the ideological training, the holistic support by recording the young people in their free time and when designing the holiday, the training center and the machines as well as the successful participation in the Reich vocational competition were assessed.
