Cross 3rd class with war decoration in gold and enamel. Fantastic, conditioned Iron insert inside the crown surmounted by the imperial double eagle. The cross shows markings on the ring loop as well as on the ribbons that connect the crown and the imperial eagle. City Mark “A” for Vienna, chamois head mark for 18 K gold as well as the maker mark “R&F”, for “Rozet & Fischmeister”. The gold marking dates this Cross 3rd Class after 1872.

This wonderful decoration comes with a miniature of the civil version of the Order of the Iron Crown (25.3 mm x 13.4 mm, 2 2 g) and a miniature of the Leopold Order (21 x 11.6 mm, 1,2 g) in equally fantastic detail and workmanship.
