A Hitler Youth Reichsjugendführung car pennant in light beige cloth, with machine-woven eagle, clutching a swastika diamond to the centre. The Hitler Youth pennant with Gothic-script designation to the base: “Reichsjugendführung”.

The car pennant fitted to a metal halyard, with chromed, metal sleeves for attachment to the fender pole.

A proof tag and RZM capsule is attached to the pennant.

The pennant colors remaining bright and unfaded, particularly the red, white & black swastika diamond, which is fresh and clean. Some slight staining towards the base, probably caused by the ingress of moisture. The obverse remains good with all stitching intact.

This is one of three known to exist.  Formerly used on vehicles assigned to Department Heads of the Hitler Youth Leadership; there were twelve Department Heads, therefore, it is likely only twelve car pennants were made.
