This Solingen-made Hitler Youth knife is very nice worn example.
The grip plates are the black checkered variety being in perfect condition. The HJ insignia has fine enamel with its nice colors of red white gold and black swastika. The grip plates on this early knife are screwed.
The scabbard shell retains most of the paint. Attached to the scabbard is black leather hanger complete with its retaining loop and working snap. This leather is still supple but has some of its original finish missing.
The blade is in an uncleaned condition with stains on both sides. Marked E.Pack & Söhne. The blade also shows the HJ motto "Blut und Ehre".
