A privately purchased officer's field tunic designed like an M36 field tunic with a dark green collar and pleated pockets.
Breast eagle: hand-embroidered officer's pattern. Postwar attached by hand.
Collar tabs: Officer's tabs with white rope. Attached by machine. Some staining is present.
Shoulder boards: White base. Sewn-in. Gilt pips. Hauptmann.
Lining. Fine silk with maker stamps.
Buttons: Complete. Field-grey. Original attached.
The tunic has some minor holes to the bottom front and top back, and some light staining.
