Heer M36 field tunic for an infantry Obergefreiter. The earliest pattern issued to the Heer was designed with a dark green color and five buttons. This example is 1941 dated. A very late M36 type.
Breast eagle: machine-woven NCO/officer type. Applied by hand privately by the soldier. The factory eagle must be still underneath it.
Collar tabs: Machine-applied EM/NCO type. Attached by machine by the factory.
