Very rare chamber piece field cap ("Schiffchen") of the NSDAP Reichsautozug made out of fine party brown cloth. 

The "Reichsautozug" provided the technical equipment for major events like the "Reichsparteitag" and was based in the Reichszeugmeisterei in Munich, Bavaria. 

The silver button to the front is originally attached and firmly in position and to the left-hand side there is a colored woven badge "NSDAP Reichsautozug" attached by hand. Brown silk lining on the inside with minor signs of wear and age, the RZM tag to the top is sadly missing, but the original white thread which fixed the tag is still present. A size stamp "58" was applied. The grommets are in correct position with some lack of color on the outside. 

This rare cap is in very good condition, untouched and undamaged. No moth bites or stains.
