An SS Verfügungstruppe (SS-VT) privately purchased officer's field tunic in grey, with a dark green collar and pleated pockets. It belongs to a member of the "Deutschland" regiment.
Sleeve eagle: Hand-embroidered. Officers pattern. Attached by hand postwar.
Collar tabs: Black tabs bordered with silver rope. Hand Embroidered SS and SS-Untersturmführer fittings. Attached by hand.
Sleeve cuff title: "Deutschland" cuff title, machine woven. Attached by hand postwar.
Shoulder boards: White piping on a black base. Sewn-in. "D" cyphers. SS-Untersturmführer .
Lining. Fine silk. No tags.
Buttons: Complete. Field grey. Original attached.
The tunic is slightly used but in good condition. It has 2 sets of awards on the left top pocket and a ribbon bar. It also has an Eastern Medal ribbon on the second button.
