The red enamel convex-shaped enamel sign with a black and white eagle & swastika motif to the centre. Above the eagle, the wording, 'DEUTSCHES KONSULAT.' The reverse finished in  black, and with four metal brackets which enables the sign to be wall-mounted. Some minor chips and rusting to the edges. The wood blocks (normally fitted into the metal mounting-brackets on the reverse) missing. Brackets intact.

One of the very few surviving signs.
