Rare early MP38/40 six-cell pouch in rayon web construction. Featuring early olive green web rayon construction and retaining its original leather closure and retaining straps. All stitching present with the slightest of wear. The back belt loops present, secure, with no issued. Properly and correctly stamped with the maker, year « eyp41 », and Waffenamt. The back is nicely blue ink stamped with the weapons’s designation « MP.38u.40 ». This type of pouch was used by the armored crew members and also well used by the paratroopers « Fallschirmjäger ». Highly desirable early pouch in excellent condition.
