Heer NCO Farrier M36 field tunic


Description

Heer M36 field tunic for an infantry NCO. The earliest pattern issued to the Heer was designed with a dark green colour and five buttons. 

 

Breast eagle: Removed (ghosting visible).
Collar tabs: Machine-applied EM/NCO type.  period attached by machine after promotion.
Shoulder boards: Removed.
Lining. Cotton.
Stamps: Stamps faded. maker stamp is slightly visible.
Buttons: Complete. Period time attached.
Sleeve: Farriers trade badge with NCO silver rope. Hand stitched.

 

The tunic has strong signs of wear and a few moth holes. The tunic has a 3-bar ribbon bar and an iron cross ribbon attached at the 2nd button. There's also a set of loops for an award on the right top pocket.
